Img2MC is designed around local browser processing.
Images are processed locally in your browser.
Img2MC does not operate accounts, advertising pixels, or image uploads.
You control the files you download and keep.
Local image processing
Img2MC is designed so that the image conversion workflow happens on your device. When you select, drop, or paste an image, the browser decodes that file and sends its pixel data to a browser Worker running on the same device. Color matching, dithering, block counting, preview rendering, PNG generation, CSV generation, and Sponge Schematic generation are performed locally. Img2MC does not send the selected image or its converted pixel data to an Img2MC application server.
The sample image offered by the interface is a static file delivered with the website. Choosing the sample downloads that public asset to your browser; it does not change how conversion works. A local file remains under your control unless you separately upload or share an exported file through another service.
Information Img2MC does not collect
The current release does not provide user accounts, cloud projects, payments, comments, newsletters, or server-side image storage. Img2MC does not use advertising pixels or behavioral analytics, and it does not build a profile from the artwork you convert. Because there is no account system, Img2MC does not ask for your name, password, postal address, billing details, or Minecraft account information.
The converter does not inspect a file for a purpose unrelated to producing the preview and exports you request. File names may appear in the interface on your device, but Img2MC does not receive or retain those names through the conversion workflow.
Technical data used to deliver the site
Like other websites, Img2MC must be delivered through hosting and network infrastructure. A hosting provider may process standard request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested path, response status, and request time to serve pages, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability. That technical processing is separate from image conversion: the selected source image is not included in ordinary page requests.
Img2MC does not use standard request records for targeted advertising or to infer the subject of an image. Retention and security practices for infrastructure records may depend on the hosting provider used for the public deployment. If Img2MC later introduces analytics or another category of data collection, the privacy information will be revised before that feature is enabled.
Browser memory, downloads, and device storage
During a session, the browser holds the selected image, conversion settings, preview data, and generated output in memory. Temporary object URLs may be created so the interface can display a local preview. They are released when the selected source changes or the page is closed. The current release does not save conversion projects to an Img2MC database or synchronize them between devices.
When you choose a download, the browser writes the PNG, CSV, or .schem file to the download location you control. Those files remain on your device until you move or delete them. Browser history, cache, download history, and operating-system backups are managed by your browser and device settings rather than by Img2MC.
External links and services
Img2MC may refer to Minecraft, WorldEdit, or other third-party software so you can understand file compatibility. Those products and any external websites have their own privacy practices. Following an external link or importing a generated file into another application is an interaction with that third party, not an Img2MC data transfer.
Do not assume that another website, server, mod, or file-sharing service follows this local-processing model. Review its privacy information before uploading an original image or generated structure, especially when the material is private, commercially sensitive, or subject to another person’s rights.
Security and responsible file handling
Local processing reduces the need to transmit source images, but no browser or device is completely free from risk. Keep your browser and operating system updated, obtain mods and tools from sources you trust, and scan downloaded or shared files when appropriate. Use a backup Minecraft world when testing a schematic so an unexpected compatibility issue cannot damage an important build.
Img2MC applies file-type and size checks intended to keep browser processing within reasonable limits. Those checks are safety controls, not a guarantee that every file is harmless or that every device can process the same workload.
Children, content rights, and your choices
Img2MC is a general creative utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of online services and downloaded game files where appropriate. Do not process private images on a shared device unless you understand how that device handles browser history, caches, and downloads.
You decide which images to open and which results to save. Use only material you are allowed to process, and avoid including personal information in files you plan to share publicly. Because Img2MC does not receive the source image through the converter, requests concerning a local source file should be handled on the device where that file is stored.
Questions and policy changes
Img2MC may revise this privacy information when the product, hosting arrangement, or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page before a newly described collection feature is intentionally enabled. The version published on this page applies to current use of the service.
For a privacy question, a concern about the accuracy of this page, or a report that the public site behaves differently from this description, contact support@img2mc.com. Include the page or feature involved, but do not email private source images, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
